Arjen Stolk, Ph.D.

Arjen Stolk is part of the Fieldtrip development team, and spearheads the application of Fieldtrip to the analysis of intracranial (ECoG/sEEG) datasets. His main research interests are on how the brain creates mutual understanding during social interaction, and how this ability is altered in psychiatric and neurological disease.

Bob Knight is one of the worlds leading experts in the application of intracranial recording techniques to the study of human cognition. His lab studies neurological patients with frontal lobe damage and also uses ECoG/sEEG recordings to understand the role of prefrontal cortex in goal-directed behavior.

Fady Girgis is a functional neurosurgeon at the UCD Medical Center. Dr. Girgis is a specialist in the surgical treatment of epilepsy, the use of Deep Brain Stimulation for the treatment of movement disorders. His research interests focus on the neurophysiology of decision-making, meditation, and Theory of Mind behavior.
