Practical details

Getting here from the Bay Area
Sacramento is a short drive away, mostly against traffic, making consecutive day-trips an option. For public transportation, Amtrak is a comfortable option for a short (~1h 15min) trip to Sacramento, offering WiFi connectivity and power outlets.

Getting here from outside the Bay Area
Sacramento international airport (SMF) is a short ~20 minutes away from the UCD medical center and has frequent connections to most West coast destinations, including affordable and flexible options via Southwest.

Lodging
The Hotel Med Park (~$130/night) and the Courtyard by Marriott (~$150/night) are good affordable options within walking distance of the Education building where the bootcamp will take place.

Meals
Course fees include catered lunches. In addition, if possible, we will hold a social mixer/dinner on Thursday night.

Laptop/data
Attendees are expected to provide their own laptop with a recent Matlab installation. Please contact us if you don’t have one so we can make arrangements. Additionally, if at all possible, they should bring their own sEEG/ECoG data for the hands-on session (a template dataset will be provided for those who don’t have access to a dataset).

Bootcamp location
The bootcamp will take place in the UC Davis Medical Center. Education Building Room 3207
